Lindsay has been emailing away, copied here and to various of his allies, demanding to know certain things of Hilary Armstrong and Neil Fleming, including in relation to certain posts here. Roman script below is Lindsay's own words, italics are the answers which we confidently assert that Hilary and Neil would give (as they most certainly should):

What a thing it must be to have power

Very many thanks to True Socialists Against David Lindsay (http://socialists-against-lindsay.blogspot.com) for just sending me the following, which, while I echo the sentiment of certainly not agreeing with everything on their blog, undoubtedly meets with my full agreement:

"Congratulations to David Lindsay for having the Derwentside District Council webforum closed down because other contributors had the temerity to question his views and his ambitions. What a thing it is never even to have stood for a Council, and to have been removed as Secretary of the corresponding District Labour Party, yet to be effectively a member of both its Labour high command and its "Independent" non-Opposition.

But then, they are both right up his street: as David Lindsay Watch (http://davidlindsaywatch.blogspot.com/ -- we certainly don't agree with all of it, mind you!) might put it, the Labour lot are statists and syndicalists for their own nationalist and theoconservative reasons, and the "Independents" are nationalists and theoconservatives for their own statist and syndicalist reasons. No wonder they work so closely together, and no wonder they both work so closely with David Lindsay.

Unite And Fight: he's got that right!

Lindsay is gaining momentum, and the fight now needs to be taken to him. We need to say no, we are not paleo-Labour, and we are proud not to be. Not for us Old Labour means to High Tory ends. We reject both those means (to any ends) and those ends (by any means). Instead, we are supporting Hilary Armstrong to remain MP for North-West Durham or, if she so chooses, to do as she wishes and hand over to Neil Fleming. This is because, like Hilary, Neil, and John Reid for Prime Minister, we do believe in:

1. A totally free and unrestricted global market in goods, services, capital and labour;

2. All state activity beyond the diplomatic and security spheres to be transferred to private enterprise operating to strict free market principles, with consequent investment in security instead, and reductions in personal and corporate taxation;

3. All states recognised as Category 1 (free) by Freedom House to be invited to join Category 1A (subject to annual American and Israeli approval), sharing a free market as defined in 1 and 2 above, the US dollar as at least one form of legal tender, English as at least one official language, common security under American-led command, a common disregard for any resolution of any international body unless ratified by the American and Israeli governments, and a common vote against any resolution not approved in advance by those two governments;

4. Category 1A to issue an ultimatum of one year to all Category 4 states, two years to all Category 3 states, three years to all Category 2 states, and four years to all Category 1 states, to seek and gain admission to Category 1A or face regime change to that end, including by means of nuclear weapons strikes;

5. The full incorporation into the State of Israel of the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, the Golan Heights and all territory south of the Litani river, with English to replace Arabic as Israel's second official language, and with all non-Jewish populations to be resettled in their allocated state of Jordan; and

6. The full range of internal security policies, including capital punishment, appropriate to the current state of war against anyone, at home or abroad, who does not assent to all of the above.

A Workers' MP On A Worker's Wage

Damn right. It would be outrageous for David Lindsay to receive the real rate of pay for a serious politician. Not as outrageous as David Lindsay being an MP at all, but still a national disgrace. He has overvalued himself at national average earnings.

Does he not read his own blog?

Does he not read his own blog? The latest posts on http://davidaslindsay.blogspot.com are just gorgeous. Lindsay going out of his way not to sound like a Hezbollah supporter while denouncing American support for Irish Republicanism explicitly, and American support for Israel implictly. Lindsay the academic elitist and misogynist. Lindsay the denier of the terrorist threat and denouncer of John Reid, the neoconservative hope of post-Blair Britain now that Cameron is wobbling. Lindsay who presumes to pronounce both main political parties dead so that they can be replaced with two new parties, one a mere extension of the personality of David Lindsay, and the other defined purely by disagreeing with David Lindsay.

Then we have Lindsay who brands as "lunatics" those who hold the perfectly sane and sensible belief in 1960s social freedom, 1980s economic freedom, and today's duty to fight for that indivisible double freedom against Islamism and other enemies while writing it into our constitutional settlement. And Lindsay who wants to engineer ways of stuffing Parliament with his own "Old Left" and "Old Right" supporters (he does have plenty of them). Oh, and Lindsay who idolises Canada as Not America but on the same continent. Plus Lindsay who notices, but seems to approve of, a British cultural cringe to Australia, though presumably this doesn't extend to the great John Howard. Anywhere but America, David.

Why America, David? Why do you hate capitalism and Marxism, liberals and neocons, Israel and America, the bourgeoisie and the Revolution? What do they all have in common? Easy. You stand in the long tradition that hates Jewish capitalism and Jewish Marxism, Jewish liberals and Jewish neocons, Jewish Israel and Jew-run America, the Jew-ridden bourgeoisie and its Judeo-Masonic Revolution, with all the uppity Irish, uppity women, uppity queers and uppity everyone else that Revolution spawned.

To be anti-capitalist is to be anti-Semitic. To be anti-Marxist while claiming to be a Socialist is, among other things, anti-Semitic. To be anti-liberal is to be anti-Semitic. To be anti-neoconservative is to be anti-Semitic in at least five ways: directly, by being anti-capitalist, by being anti-liberal, by being anti-Israel and by being anti-American. Because to be anti-Israel is obviously to be anti-Semitic and to be anti-American is no less obviously so. To oppose the triumph of the bourgeoisie (including the triumph of the West and of America within the West) is be anti-Semitic. And to oppose the Revolution (which defines the West now triumphant) is to be anti-Semitic.

Such is Lindsay's tradition of "Catholic Social Teaching" and Distributism. And yes, it does appeal to Old Labour and the Old Tories, as does he personally. That's what makes them so dangerous. And that's what makes him so dangerous.

True Colours

Lindsay has been updating http://davidaslindsay.blogspot.com, and his true colours are being revealed. He is a misogynistic, homophobic, anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist. In particular, check out the vicious post on Israel and Lebanon, the other one on Lord Levy, and the anti-women, anti-gay rant on "Mother Jesus". Then read his four-part essay "Left And Right Must Unite And Fight" with all that in mind.

In this, he stands in the great and ignoble tradition of the "anti-Marxist Left", the "anti-neocon Right", the devotees of "Catholic Social Teaching" and admirers of the Chesterbelloc, and so on. Lindsay is at least correct that all these people are basically the same (misogynistic, homophobic, anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists), although he is possibly the first person ever openly to belong to all of them. He clearly has a mission to put them all in touch with each other. He must be stopped!

But will he be? Our own Foreign Office (including MI6) has always been riddled with Vatican placemen, and its Middle East policy, regardless of who has been in government, has always been dictated by the anti-Semitic, public school Camel Corps. I've been asking around, and they love him: the man who could rescue Labour from the Marxists and the neocons alike once and for all, thereby forcing the Tories to give up the latter and give up on Israel. And the first British politician for a generation or more who really believes in the "Commonwealth". They're not so sure about his views on the EU and the Atlantic Alliance, but, unfortunately, his logic is impeccable that these follow from his Old Labour/Monday Club views on British "sovereignty", Ireland, the "Commonwealth", and the Middle East.

The Purpose of This Blog

The purpose of this blog is to stand up to the statist, syndicalist, nationalist and theoconservative would be Labour MP, David Lindsay. His own blog is http://davidaslindsay.blogspot.com, and there is also a spoof http://davidarselindsay.blogspot.com

The spoof (which seems to have been written by an undergraduate) is vaguely funny in a schoolboy way, but it mocks Lindsay's obvious desire to become Prime Minister. In fact, this is no joke. Almost no one of his generation would dream of standing for Parliament in the first place, and to give him his due, he has more to say and a better way of saying it than most of those who would. It's what he has to say that is the problem.

So it really could happen in 15 years time: a statist, syndicalist, nationalist, theocon coup. And not just here. Ask around among "the Left" and "the Old Right" that he claims to be involved with. He really is! Here, in America, in France: they've all heard of him and really do seem to approve of him. His sort of convergence is where they're headed, too. And they think that he is in the vanguard!

davidarselindsay also mocks the idea that Lindsay is a target for the British Security Services. But again, ask around in the right places and it is common knowledge that he is, and not just the British ones. A good thing too: they wouldn't be doing their job properly if they weren't trying to stop him and his activities.

I have known him since he was a child, and have watched his progress towards becoming an MP -- my MP! -- with mounting alarm. He must be stopped!
